With some encouragement I got the guts to redo our dressers. (I usually hate every craft I do)I borrowed Liz's sander and went to work. We painted them black and distressed the edges. I am super excited about the results. What do you think? I'll post the before picture another time. Thanks for your help Liz!
The only minor problem I encountered was opening the top drawer of Joel's dresser after the paint had sealed it closed- just minor details, yet not bad for a beginner. Joel had to pry it open with his leatherman. OK, so maybe Martha's not in jeopardy yet.

Totally cute!!! Even for the knob that doesn't have a handle on it :). And I'm glad you finally added to the blog. Hope Austin's getting better!!!
