We took the kids for a day trip to Coloma. After a rough start of AJ throwing up in the car and not being able to find a place to eat, we got lunch and had a picnic in the pines.

Shane enjoyed an ice cream cone while we panned for gold. Earlier in the day he fell face first and hit a beam. His eye immediately swelled and turned black, but he was trooper and wanted to get back down and play. It turned out to be a good day. The boys slept the whole way home.

what a fun day! we have been wanting to head back up your way. we love the train musuem in Sacramento and old town Sacramento. We haven't been to Coloma before.
We went to that museum- Aj liked it. There's a bunch of cute shops around there to walk around
Looks like a fun day! I can't even tell in that last picture that Shane hit his eye!
