San Francisco

We went to San Francisco last weekend with my mom, Brandon and his family and Brent & Jessica. We woke up early and took BART to Alcatraz, Pier 39, Fisherman's Wharf and Gheradelli Square. If was fun, but we did A LOT of walking. At Alcatraz Aj did pretty well staying in the stroller but once he saw the rec yard I guess he felt he deserved his 20 minutes of play time too. After climbing up (and down and up and down...) the cement bleachers I saw the most gorgeous view of the SF skyline and the Golden Gate. It must have been horrible to have to sit there in prison and see freedom so close.

At Pier 39 Austin took some time to smell the roses before seeing the "arr arr" or sea lions if you don't speak Austin. Joel got him a candy necklace (??? I guess its Ok when your in San Fran) after riding the carousel and playing at the old arcade place. We finished the day with a "world famous" hot fudge and carmel sunday.

The next morning we went to spend the day with our grandparents in Modesto and then drove home. Fun Times!

Makes me tired just reading this. Candy necklaces are ok anytime in my book. :)
